Your help is needed.<br /><br />Graciously, many of you purchased the postcard book "Eyes of Katrina," which raised over $200,000 for animals left homeless after Hurrican Katrina in 2005. Saint Francis Animal Sanctuary, in Abita Springs, LA, was the temporary shelter for hundreds of cats and dogs during and after the storm ravaged their homes and separated them from their families. Many of the photographs in "Eyes of Katrina" featured dogs saved by Pam Perez, founder of Saint Francis Animal Sanctuary.<br /><br />Pam Perez is preparing her shelter, yet again, for the reception of hundreds of cats and dogs that will have to be or have been evacuated from New Orleans to escape Hurricane Gustav.<br /><br />Volunteers are currently on their way to help Pam handle this overwhelming task.
